I wound up not using it. This cover didn't have that feature. It looks good and is well made except for the fact that it won't stay on the Reader. I was disappointed in this product. Waste of money to me. It has little tabs at the top and bottom but the EReader just slid out of it. I had a PRS505 - which is what this is supposed to be for - and it didn't "click" onto the EReader at all. The cover that came with the EReader has a snap feature on the back.
It was ok but looked kind of tacky -- too "pink". However, they said that is no longer available. I prefer leather.
The inside is supposed to look like leather suede but it is obvious that it is just a cheap microfiber. maybe you can find it on eBay. As another reviewer has observed, it is not padded -- while the non-padded cover has "cleaner" lines, it is not as satisfying from a tactile perspective. While the leather cover is still nicer than the one included with the reader, it is not worth $40.00 and should be much nicer given the expense of the e-Reader.I noticed over on the Sony eReader site, they were selling a Dooney Bourke cover for awhile.
I didn't like the cheap plastic cover that came with the PRS-505. It is not sewn properly and the front it buckled. I haven't seen it in person but figure it has to be better than this one.
So I bought the pink. So I bought the black.
But the leather is good quality, it should last without falling apart. This is a soft-cover case, if you're expecting something rigid then this is NOT the case for you. Inside are some pocket slots which you can use to store extra memory cards, business cards, etc.The only reason I didn't give it full stars is because despite everything it *is* a bit expensive.
